The appointment will last as long as you want it to! The time taken is you choosing the fabrics rather than us measuring but we usually allow an hour.

Yes, we do appointments in the evenings and weekends but it’s often better to look at colours in natural daylight so after dark is not normally such a good idea.

We don’t charge for appointments.

Yes, you can change your mind after an appointment but if you’re unsure just call us the day after when you’ve thought it all through. Once you’ve given us the go ahead your order can often be sent to the factory within the hour!

Your blinds usually take 2 to 3 weeks to be delivered to us. We then aim to fit them within a week.

Yes, you can get all sorts of blinds for doors. We’ll come round and talk to you about the various options.

There is no one particular type of blind to be used in a conservatory. Nearly all types of blinds can be used in nearly all types of conservatory. Call us and we’ll come round and explain.

Yes, we can come round and measure before you move in. We just need permission from the Site Sales Office. We always carry Hard Hat’s, Safety Footwear and Hi Vis Jackets.

Blinds only go mouldy in poorly ventilated bathrooms and in these cases we usually recommend PVC blinds.

Wooden Blinds are made from Basswood. However, we now supply and fit as many Faux Wood blinds as real wood blinds – much more environmentally friendly and cheaper too!

Any type of blinds are suitable for a child’s bedroom but blackout roller blinds are probably the best – they’re simple and it darkens the room to keep them asleep!

Yes. All blinds (supplied by ourselves and anyone else) must meet The General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Yes, the blind’s you receive will be exactly the same as the sample you’ve been shown but just remember you’ll only have seen a small swatch and this can sometimes appear different on a large window after installation!

No, I’m afraid you can’t return them if you don’t like them. Sorry!

Some blinds (Hive Pleated Blinds, for example) may be better than curtains but we would normally say curtains are better.

Pleated Blinds and Vertical Blinds are good for unusally shaped windows but give us a ring and we’ll call round and take a look. We’ve seen some very odd shaped windows over the years!

No, we don’t charge for fitting.

Usually the best way to clean blinds is with warm water and a damp cloth but Ostrich Feather Dusters are great for cleaning Wooden Blinds. Give us a ring – we carry a stock of these!

We always wear branded uniform and sometimes, though not always, we’ll be displaying an Identity Card on a lanyard.

No, we will always ask for a 50% deposit when ordering (cash, card or BACS) and the balance  to be paid when arranging fitting.

We offer a Full 1 Year Guarantee on all blinds and a 10 year guarantee on shutters.  The guarantee covers hardware and moving parts only and will comence from date of fitting.  Products will only be covered by our guarantee if paid in full.

We usually recommend Roller Blinds for kitchens  – easy to operate, easy to clean, gives plenty of natural daylight and leaves the sill clear to put things on!

Vertical Blinds, Perfect Fit and Intu Blinds are very appropriate for French Doors.
